After buying and selling several retail businesses of his own, Rick was approached by Chase Business Brokers to add his business and retail expertise to the team of business brokers. Rick joined Chase Business Brokers in 2006 after successfully working with Chase to close some very complex business and property sales.
Rick has served as President of the California Service Station Association, Chairman of the Northern California Service Station Dealer Council, arbitrator for the Better Business Bureau and training advisor for CBT (Computer Based Training) programs. He has been a consultant and trainer for UT Management and JLZ Business Services
Rick has lived in the Bay Area most of his life, attending high school in San Lorenzo and furthering his studies in Business Management and Accounting at Chabot College and Cal State Hayward. While attending school, he worked as customer service and outside sales representative for a construction supply company. He then furthered his skills and experience in the business world with the Bank of California and Bank of the West where he participated in bank management training programs, such as vault teller, General Ledger bookkeeper, consumer and small business lending. Much of his training was in the field of financial analysis for small business and consumer relations..
After college Rick returned to outside sales for a short period of time prior to buying his own service business.. Rick owned and operated service stations, automotive repair, convenience stores and car wash facilities for many years. During his tenure as business owner and operator, he has dealt in all facets of business from purchase and sale negotiations to site selections, remodel and new construction...
Rick is licensed with the California Department of Real Estate and continues to pursue greater education in the real estate, financial and lending fields.
